Who knew that a family reunion could be so… metallic? For our first official outing, the #EPTS30 crew traded the classroom for the grand dining room at Novotel Siam Square.
We weren’t just there for the food (though, let’s be honest, that was a huge plus); we were there to meet the “royalty” of the dining table: Mr. Spoon, Ms. Fork, and Mrs. Knife. —
Under the expert guidance of the Accor Group professionals, our students transformed into polished diners. We didn’t just eat; we navigated the “Cutlery Family” with style!
• The Warm-up: Conquering the art of the perfect butter-to-bun ratio.
• The Sip: Navigating the mushroom soup, no slurping allowed, just pure elegance!
• The Main Event: Mastering the “zigzag” vs. “hidden” styles while enjoying pork and chicken steaks.
• The Fold: We learned that a napkin isn’t just a lap-warmer; it’s an art form! From basic folds to professional Accor-style setups, our desks are going to look a lot fancier from now on.
Why do we do this? Because being an EPTS student means being ready for any stage, whether it’s an international debate or a formal gala dinner. Seeing Gen 30 support each other through the “which fork do I use first?” panic was the highlight of the week.
Pro Tip: If you’re ever lost, just work from the outside in!
We’ve officially leveled up from “students” to “global citizens.” Huge thanks to the Novotel team for hosting our #EPTS30 family!
